Terms of service
Last updated 14 September 2026. Feedwatch is operated by Saliga Software (“we”), and is listed on the Shopify App Store as Feedwatch: Google & Meta Audit.
What the service does
Feedwatch reads the catalog of the Shopify store it is installed on and reports which products are missing data that Google Shopping and Meta require, or that Google uses to match and categorise a product — a brand, an image, a barcode, a product category — together with how many products are affected and what they add up to at one unit of each, at each product’s lowest listed price, calculated from your own prices. It can write those fields back to your catalog when you ask it to.
Feedwatch does not submit anything to those channels, does not connect to your accounts on them, and has no ability to make a product appear in any of them. It tells you what would not be listed or may be shown less, and helps you fix it; whether a channel then lists a product is that channel’s decision.
Plans, price and billing
- There are two plans. Free costs nothing and has no time limit: every check on every active product, which products are affected and what each one is missing, and a weekly email. Standard is $19 per month and adds the fixes that write a missing barcode, category or brand back to your catalog, singly or in bulk, and a fuller weekly email.
- You install once and choose a plan afterwards, in your Shopify admin. Shopify hosts that page; we do not take a payment or hold a plan choice of our own.
- Neither plan has a free trial. The free plan is what you try the app on, and it does not run out.
- Billing runs entirely through Shopify and appears on your normal Shopify invoice. We never see or handle your payment details, and we cannot charge you outside Shopify’s billing system.
- Uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin cancels the subscription. Shopify’s own refund and proration rules apply.
- If the price changes, it changes for new subscriptions first, and Shopify requires your explicit approval before an existing subscription can be charged at a new price.
Your catalog is yours
Every write Feedwatch makes is one you initiated, to one of three fields — barcode, category, brand — on products you chose. We claim no rights over your catalog data and do not use it to train anything. What we store and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Install Feedwatch on stores you control. Do not attempt to use it to reach data belonging to a store you are not authorised for, and do not attempt to disrupt the service for other merchants. We may suspend access to the app for a store doing either, and will say why.
Availability
Feedwatch runs on a single server and is offered without an uptime guarantee. We aim for the app to be reachable at all times and to restore it quickly when it is not, but a subscription buys the service as it is, not a service level.
When it is wrong
Feedwatch checks fields against published channel requirements, which change. A rule can be wrong in both directions: it can flag a product that a channel would accept, or miss one that a channel rejects. Report it to salih@feedwatch.co with the product and it gets fixed.
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost sales, lost rankings, or a channel’s decision about your listings.
Ending it
You can uninstall at any time from your Shopify admin; that cancels the subscription and deletes what we hold about your store. We may discontinue the app, in which case we will email the store owner’s address at least 30 days before it stops working.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Material changes are emailed to the store owner’s address at every installed store.
